La Pergola Restaurant at The Wheatsheaf

This family run business places the emphasis on producing homemade authentic Italian food, using good quality ingredients, and locally sourced produce where possible.

The restaurant’s allotment provides homegrown vegetables, herbs, and salad produce as well as free-range eggs from their own hens.

Fresh pizza dough is made daily, and a wood-burning clay oven gives their pizzas a distinctive taste. Pizzas are available for both dine-in and takeaway.

Based at The Wheatsheaf, a former coaching inn dating back to the 15th Century, La Pergola is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Meals are served in the restaurant and outside, plus in the bar, or you can just pop in for a drink.

The bar area and parts of the garden are dog friendly.
